100 Years of Govenaires: A Legacy of Art, Music, and Community

Govies kicked off the100-year celebrations with a game day in the community room at Tremendous Brewing in May of 2026.

On May 17, we held a fundraiser that raised $694 at Tremendous Brewing in St. Peter to announce anniversary plans and gather alumni and friends of the Govenaires for a fun afternoon of games. Thanks to all who dropped by to support this, our volunteers who ran the games and the registration table, and the many local businesses who donated raffle prizes and other items!

Here’s an overview of some of the events currently planned to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the Govenaires throughout 2027!  Alumni are invited to get involved in performances through marching parades and concerts throughout the summer. We’d particularly love to see you in the 4th of July parade, and /or at the Drum Corps Expo in St. Peter. Stay tuned for more information on these events!
