Molly Hanzelka
Parade and Concert Corps Co-Director
Molly began her career with the Govenaires in 1994. During her multi-decade involvement with the corps, she has been a performer, technician, choreographer, staff coordinator, program coordinator, colorguard caption head, and now Co-Director of the Parade and Concert Corps.
Outside of the Govenaires, Molly’s performance experience includes the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps, from Dubuque, IA, and Onyx, a World Class winterguard from Dayton, OH, along with various local colorguard and modern dance organizations.
Molly has taught numerous high school and intendent programs throughout Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Ohio including: fall marching band, winterguard, and summer parade marching. She is a directory, choregrapher, and design consultant. She is also a marching arts costume designer/producer. Molly lives and works in the Twin Cities area and is looking forward to serving the GPAA organization in this new role!

Join Our Board
The Govenaires Performing Arts Association (GPAA) seeks Directors at Large to serve on their Board of Directors. The Mission of GPAA is to serve as a gateway to performance arts through education, access, and opportunity.
We do this by:
Providing individuals the opportunity to share their passion of performing arts through its Ensembles: Govenaires Drum & Bugle Corps, Govenaires International, Govenaires Alumni Association
Financially contribute and provide event opportunities for youth to be involved in performing arts.
Directors at Large Expectations:
Attend monthly board meetings for a 2 year term
Actively participate in planning, governance, and fundraising.
Serve on committees.
Be ambassadors volunteering your time and talents as opportunities arise.
Contribute monetarily to the Association membership annually as described in the Bylaws.
The ideal Candidates:
Have a passion for the performing arts
Dedication to time commitments
Skills that align with assisting business operations
Prior Board of Directors experience
Prior or current non-profit organization volunteering experience
