2016 Open House announced

If you’re looking for the most fun and flexible marching experience in Minnesota, come to the Govenaires Open House on December 5 and 6.

The weekend rehearsals will kick off the 2016 season for the defending Drum Corps Associates (DCA) Class A champions.

The Open House will take place in St. Peter, Minnesota, starting with a 9:00 a.m. registration on Saturday at St. Peter High School (100 Lincoln Dr. St Peter, MN 56082).

If you can’t make it to the first Open House rehearsal, the next rehearsal weekend is January 16 and 17 at St. Peter High School. There will also be a percussion-only rehearsal on December 20 at the same location.

The Govenaires are an all-age marching music ensemble that performs in parades and field shows during the summer. We offer flexible scheduling, inexpensive dues, and a fun atmosphere.

As part of the DCA circuit, the Govenaires are eleven-time finalists and four-time champions in Class A (2006, 2009, 2011, and 2015). Besides competitive success, the corps takes pride in its unique brand of performance. Entertaining audiences has always been paramount to the Govenaires.

The season leads up to the DCA Championships, which take place Labor Day weekend in Rochester, New York.
