Sign up to be a part of a World Class (and World Champion!!) organization - The Govenaires!! Every year The Govenaires are looking for more folks to help out with the corps. Many, many positions are needed, from performing members - the marching members of the corps, to support staff personnel that work behind the scenes and make sure that the marchers look like the rockstars that they are. Marching members can play horn, beat a drum, tickle the marimba, or dance and spin with our Class A Champion Colorguard. We provide quality instruction thoughout the corps and will get you up to speed to be a part very quickly. Even if you're saying, "But I haven't played for 8 years.", it's never to late to resume performing and playing for the crowds of thousands of people that watch drum corps every year. We thrive on getting the very best from our members and making a quality product each and every time. Support Staff members devote themselves to the corps while staying more in the shadows, helping out with everything it takes to keep our performing members focused on their job. The jobs of the support staff are probably the most important of all. We're always looking for people to sew uniforms and flags, help drive our fleet of vehicles, lend a watchful eye on rehearsals, help cook some tasty meals, carry water during parades, take pictures or video, and more. The list of potential jobs is really endless, and if you'd like to help, just get in contact with us and we can talk about where your skills may fit in with the Govies.
